Sunkist® High Pressure Washer
Models HPW 300, 400, 500, 600 & 700
The High Pressure Washer system provides a high pressure
cleaning operation of citrus fruit, including but not limited to
the following varieties: oranges, lemons, grapefruit, Minneolas,
and Tangerines.

- All necessary drain pans and water collection hardware from
the customers brush washer to the HPW System.
- All plumbing and components integral to interconnect all the
system components.
- Motor control panel and internal components.
- Optional re-routing of washer automatic cleanout to
clear the high pressure washer spray header.
- A stainless steel manifold header with a minimum of 11 spray
bars.
- Spray bars are complete with properly spaced tungsten carbide
spray nozzles.
- Primary Filter: 1 - 150 mesh box screen filter
- Secondary filter: 1 - S.S. sand media filter with automatic
cleanouts. Optional Star 8 Disc Filter.
- 2000 gallon poly tank reservoir for backwash water supply
(optional tank sizes are available).
- 1 - 15 hp media filter backwash pump.
- 1 - 2 hp box filter wand cleanout pump.
- 1 - 30 hp media filter booster pump
- 1 - 5 hp screen filter feed pump (as required).
- 1 - 125 hp horizontal high pressure pump (sized according to
Model).
- Operator training, mechanical installation and piping
connections.
High Pressure Washer System Installation
Requirements
- 200 amps 480 V.3 phase input power to the control panel and
building wiring.
- External field wiring from the control panel.
- Water supply to the system, back wash tank, clean up and
filter.
- Forklift and or forklift driver to aid mechanical
installer.
- Sanitizer, chemicals and associated controls.
- Drains and or drain piping from the High Pressure Washer
System.
- Access platforms and catwalks.
- Freight to customer’s location (the system is shipped
fob Calif., USA).
- Travel time, travel, and per diem expenses for start-up and
training technicians.
- Electrical or mechanical changes due to incorrect use or
special installation requirements.
- Electrical, plumbing and building modifications.
- Location of the installation is to be approved by the
official sales agent for the High Pressure Washer System.
Due to the nature of the high pressure wash system no
warranty is implied or covered for fruit damage, cleanliness or
condition. Operational recommendations can be obtained from
Sunkist® Research and Technical Services. Due to the nature and
construction of different suppliers' brush beds there is no
implication to the high pressure washer of being a closed or
water tight system.
